Richard Shannon Hoon (September 26, 1967 – October 21, 1995)

He was the frontman and lead singer of the band Blind Melon until his death from a cocaine overdose in 1995.

In his grave were the words from the first song he wrote, Change:" I know we can't all stay here forever So I want to write my words on the face of today and they'll paint it"

How can we say RIP when during these rainy days it's his music we hum and long for?
