Jinkee Pacquiao declines Live Interview on Ellen DeGeneres Show

News are everywhere about Manny Pacquiao's real life coach and wife, Jinkee Pacquiao's shopping escapades , but hey, that linked her to no other than Paris Hilton. That "shopping culture", makes her an Ambassadress who would be able to invite and promote our Philippines to the hotel heiress.

The newest buzz, is that, Jinkee declined the offer to guest at the Ellen DeGeneres show because of the blatant answer that she does not want to go Live and she is uncomfortable speaking English with the CBS airing.

This has more meaning because this has been a long time issue about Language. Watching the beauty pageants, we accept , but still, half-heartedly praise those with interpreters. The K-Pop can get away with it . Yoko Ono started with Nihongo when she was placed to fame by being John Lennon's partner in crime. So why can we not hire an interpreter for Jinkee? If not go on with a taped interview, as what she suggests . Or by her own words, yeah, there is still a next time!

I commend Jinkee Pacquiao for her conscious incompetence. She has always been full of herself and knows what she wants-that is indeed a world champion!

7th Annual Symphony of Peace Prayers 2011

reposting...

Join over 50 countries all over the world this day
in uniting hearts
across different nations, cultures, and faiths
to create waves of Peace, Light and Love for the healing and renewal of the Earth
through interfaith prayers, music and movement!

The Symphony of Peace Prayers (SOPP) is an inter-religious and inter-spiritual public ceremony that is open for all. On this day we honor and give gratitude to the beautiful peace prayers from different faith traditions (Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, etc.) in order to create and spread a wave of peace, harmony, light and love to all corners of the Earth, and to elevate the consciousness of all humanity, so that peace may be realized as soon as possible.

Aside from the interfaith peace prayer service, the event engages the public in the World Peace Prayer Ceremony whereby peace is prayed for all the nations as the name of each country in the world is called and its national flag is waved.

Since 2005, the main SOPP has been held at the Fuji Sanctuary in Japan hosted by the Byakko Shinko Kai (see www.byakkoblog.typepad.com/sopp/).
