Eiga Sai 2011: The 13th Japanese Film Festival Opening Night

Tonight at 1900 hr is the opening night of the 13th Eiga Sai at Shangri-la Plaza. It kicks off with a special performance of Mr. Renato Lucas, the principal cellist of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra together with pianist—Ms. Naomi Sison, at 7:00 P.M. at the Atrium Plaza of the said Mall.

And the featured film is Departures: a story of a Cellist, from being disbanded,he returned home and prepared the dead bodies to rituals , cremation and the likes but beyond that it was his spiritual journey. Award winning indeed!
