CINEMANILA 2011 CALL FOR ENTRIES

The 2011 Cinemanila has opened its Call for Entries for the Digital Lokal, Young Cinema, and International Competition. Deadline of submission is September 12, 2011.

The 2011 Cinemanila International Film Festival will take place from November 11 until the 17 2011. Now on it 13th year, Cinemanila has presented award-winning local and international independent films fresh from festivals such as Cannes, Berlin, and Pusan, among others. Film luminaries like Quentin Tarantino, Lou Diamond Phillips, Fernando Meirelles, Paul Schrader, Christine Hakim, Jafar Panahi, Pusan International Film Festival director Kim Dong Ho, and Aruna Vasudev of NETPAC have received Lifetime Achievement Awards in the longest-running and only international film festival of its kind in the Philippines.
