The International Institute for Film and Arts (IIFA) just might have the answers for you with the IIFA ARTS MARKETING SEMINAR-WORKSHOP to be held on June 15-19, 2009 (Monday to Friday), 1:00-6:00 P.M. at LAB 315, Evekal Building, 855 Arnaiz Avenue, Makati City. Dennis Marasigan, former Marketing Manager of the Cultural Center of the Philippines, is Workshop Master.

The IIFA ARTS MARKETING SEMINAR-WORKSHOP is designed specially for Artistic Directors, executive officers and marketing staff of arts and cultural organizations as well as independent artists. It will cover topics such as Principles of Marketing, Arts Marketing in the Philippine Setting, Marketing Communications, Press and Public Relations. Sales Promotions, and E-Marketing. In addition to lecture sessions with marketing practitioners, participants will be required to complete a Marketing Plan for implementation specific to their needs.

Dennis Marasigan handled arts marketing courses at the University of the Philippines (Manila) and the Institute for Cultural and Arts Management. He also taught Cultural Management for the De La Salle University Graduate School of Business and was Chairman of the St. Scholastica' s College Department of Mass Communication. Aside from being a theater, television and film practitioner, he also served as Executive Director of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) and Artistic Director of Tanghalang Pilipino, the CCP resident theater company. At the Cultural Center of the Philippines, he assumed various posts, including Technical Director, Theater Operations Manager, Associate Artistic Director, and Assistant Vice-President for Marketing.
