12:15-12:45pm

Overwhelmed and down stricken by the terrorizing and scornful ways of the school’s new principal, Principal Debbie Asuncion, Manong Juni struggles to cope as he encounters familiar and even new levels of stress and discouragement – up to a point where he begins to think if his life and his love for his job has, still, any worth at all. All of these circumstances pile up with great pain within him, only for him to find out in the end of what God’s providential love and grace could actually do, even in his most trying times.

3)GULONG written & directed by Sockie Fernandez
3:30-5:00pm
Is about friendship, love and life. The story is told from the point-of-view of Apao, a smart, kindhearted boy whose quest for an old bicycle reveals the stuff he is made of. With him on this adventure are his insan Momoy and his bespren Tom-Tom. The story begins with a question: How are our 3 friends going to spend their summer vacation? Tom-Tom suggests that they go to his uncle's fishpond, an hour's bike ride from where they live. Apao and Momoy have a problem - they don't own a bike! There are no jeeps and it is too far to walk. Momoy finds an old bicycle but the owner, an old woman named Tita Maggie, will only give it to him if he pays her a hundred pesos. He agrees and promises to come back with the money the next day. This starts a series of events which affects Apao, his friends, his family and even his community. In the end, a discarded 40 year old bicycle connects the past to the present and becomes a catalyst for healing old wounds and reviving a love affair that has long been left for dead.
Starring: Tricia Amper, Robert Arevalo, Jopet Concordia, Ina Feleo, Steven Fermo, Igi Flores, others

She died on Sept. 14, 1942 at the age of 84. After World War II, a ward of Hermana Fausta asked Fernando Amorsolo to do a portrait of the SHC founder using a picture as model. Amorsolo refused, saying he only painted live models. But the ward wouldn’t take no for an answer so Amorsolo asked who the woman was. Upon learning of the noble deeds of Hermana Fausta he agreed.
Starring: Perla Bautista, Tommy Abuel, Ningning Zafranco, Josefina Sace, Mabel Lucero-Redor, others

420, 4/20, 4:20 Luis, 4:20
420, 4/20, 4:20 Luis, 4:20
This is an expression pertaining to the consumption of cannabis and, sometimes by extension, one way to identify oneself with cannabis subculture.
The term was from a group of teenagers, led by Parker Haney, in San Rafael, California in 1971. They called themselves the Waldos, because "their chosen hang-out spot was a wall outside the school, the group first used the term in connection to a fall 1971 plan to search for an abandoned cannabis crop that they had learned about. The Waldos used the Louis Pasteur statue on the grounds of San Rafael High School as meeting place, and on 4:20 p.m. They called this plan "4:20 Louis" eventually shortened to simply "4:20", which evolved as a codeword the teens used to mean pot-smoking.
But I'm in a different high when I use this.. It's for my best friend's birthday celebration! No playing, No SMOKING POT!for I'm not a Waldo!
It only means make it a GOOD day TODAY !
Happy 420 Adolf Hitler and Xean!

Everywhere We Shoot's TALK + 1st solo exhibit
Must be an early bird for this....
AYALA MUSEUM’S DESIGN TALKS: Everywhere We Shoot
Ayala Museum’s DesignTalks is a lecture series that brings prominent and pioneering Filipino creative professionals to the center stage. Lined up for this April is the creative duo who call themselves Everywhere We Shoot, scheduled to talk on 16 April 2011, 3:00 pm at the Ayala Museum Ground Floor Lobby, and whose works will also be on exhibit at the Third Floor Glasslane starting ...on the day of the talk.
Composed of Ryan Vergara and Garovs Garrovillo, their moniker is not just the duo’s name but also a statement of intent, a manifesto of sorts in praise of the ambulant imagination. They both trained at the De La Salle-College of St. Benilde’s School of Design & Arts (Ryan was a Multimedia Arts major while Garovs was in Fashion Design and Merchandising).
Their work has appeared in almost every major magazine in the country as well as a number of publications abroad. They’ve also done commissions to do brand campaigns, record sleeves, and lookbooks for top Filipino designers.
They’ve established an inimitable style of art through photography, fashion, and graphic design—characteristically ironic and playful and always with a hint of humor. They simplify the complicated, and exaggerate the basics. The success of their partnership is that they create images that refuse to stay put.
Tickets are sold for Php300 regular rate, and discounted at Php150 for students, teachers, senior citizens and Ayala Museum members.
For inquiries, call 757.7117 to 21 or email museum_inquiry@ayalafoundation.org. Ayala Museum is located at Makati Avenue corner De la Rosa Street, Greenbelt Park, Makati City.

NATGEO Earth Day Run 2011 Race Results
I had the run of my life by not running at all!
I was part of the first 1000 to have the Greenwich Pizza.
I had fun at the photo booths though I did not pay for the Athens background in Nat Geo, Anchor Lite, and Canon.
I asked for Cueshes sticker-sss because I was not able to get their baller.
I had the run of my Life with buddy Grapey!
Check the official links and read this letter from the organizer:
Dear Runners,
When the first National Geographic Earth Day Run was held last year, the running community unselfishly showed an outpouring of support through an overwhelming runner turn-out. Not only did runners enjoy celebrating Earth Day with a good run at the SM Mall of Asia, everyone also made a mark in raising awareness for the need to care for Mother Earth.
With this successful event in mind, The National Geographic Channel decided to bring to the community another edition of this race this 2011. Now, the race will be in a much bigger and better venue and can definitely cater to a growing and improving population of runners. In addition, this year’s edition will also feature the 21km-distance as an additional race category.
True enough, the interest that this year’s edition of the race generated an even greater number of participants. In fact, the National Geographic Earth Day Run 2011 almost had double of last year’s total registrants as it reached a record number 10,300.. And as we closed registration today, we have been continuously receiving requests for registration period extension and reopening of slots for all race categories.
We thank everyone for the support that they have consistently given to the National Geographic Earth Day Run. But along with the gratitude, we also would like to apologize for the problems that that some of you encountered regarding the availability of the technical shirts. We did our best to plan the process to avoid such problems but the rapid growth of participants caused unavoidable delays in production of the shirts. Because of the surge in demand, our supplier temporarily ran out of materials for the shirt coupled with an unfortunate breakdown of their machines for a couple of days.
This unavailability of the shirts was also the main reason why delivery of race kits for online registrants was delayed. Since we have guaranteed that online registrants should receive the shirt size that they have indicated during registration, we had to wait for the succeeding delivery of shirts before we ship out the race kits. Again, we apologize that this scenario had to happen.
As of April 5, we have serviced 80% of the actual requirements and we look forward to being able to service all by completing deliveries for the last 20%. As we do this, we would like to let everyone know of the following courses of action:
1. Give the 10km registrants the BLACK shirts, instead of the original GRAY shirts as the black shirts are readily available.
2. Extend the schedule for release/claiming of the YELLOW shirts starting on Thursday, April 7 until Saturday, April 9 to give the registrants ample time to claim the shirt as we are expecting final delivery of these shirts by, April 6.
For the registrants who were able to grab any of the last 500 slots each for both 3km and 5km race categories, we would also like to assure you that the shirt you will be receiving two months after the race will be in your correct size. In addition, registrants will need not claim their shirts as this will be delivered in coordination with our courier-partner and with us shouldering the courier expense.
It is our greatest endeavor to ensure everyone who registered for this race event to be able to receive their shirts before race day. That is why as mentioned earlier, the Greenbelt 3 Mall registration center will be open to service everyone who will have to claim their shirt sizes at an extended period of April 7 to 9.
Again, we would like to truly apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for choosing to celebrate Earth Day and running with us at the National Geographic Earth Day Run 2011 on April 10, 2011.
Sincerely yours,
Mr. Jude Turcuato

DIRECTIONS TO THE VENUE:
You can reach the house either by taking Escaldo St. or R. Hidalgo St. if you take Escaldo, just go straight until you see the Barbosa police station (and if you do get lost, just ask where the Barbosa police station is). Beside the station is a house with two flags placed on the window of the 2nd floor: the national flag and the katipunan one. That's Bahay Nakpil. If you take R. Hidalgo, just turn left on the first intersection; there's a chowking branch that you'll see before the street itself.
